Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026

Short version: Actum Pro is designed as a local-first app. It does not require a separate Actum Pro account, does not include third-party advertising, and does not sell personal information.

Who we are

Actum Pro, including its Actum Pro Lite access level, is provided by DC Digital LLC. If you have questions about this policy, contact support@transcriptlog.com.

Information stored in the app

Actum Pro lets users enter transcript job information such as job names, case names or numbers, case prefixes, ordering party names, deadlines, page counts or audio/video minute counts, rates, proofing settings, work calendar availability, completion status, delivery, filing, billing status, and notes. Users may also save preferences such as work type, region, default work unit, statuses, reminders, and pacing defaults.

This information is stored locally on the user's device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. Actum Pro does not require users to create a separate Actum Pro account. Paid subscriptions, when available, are managed through the App Store and the user's Apple ID.

Information we collect

The current version of Actum Pro does not collect app analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking data, or account information. We do not sell user data.

Support email

If you email us for support, we will receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or descriptions of the issue. We use support messages only to respond to support requests and improve Actum Pro.

Data sharing

Actum Pro does not share locally stored transcript job information with dcdigital or third parties. If future versions add optional sync or analytics, this policy will be updated before those features are released.

Backup export and restore

Actum Pro includes user-initiated backup and restore tools. A backup can contain jobs, progress history, rates, workflow settings, and app preferences. When you export or save a backup, you choose its destination, such as Files or iCloud Drive. You can then restore that file on another supported device. dcdigital does not receive or control these backup files.

Data deletion

Deleting the app from your device deletes the app's local data from that device. Backup files stored in Files, iCloud Drive, or another location are not deleted automatically; remove them from that location when you no longer need them. If you contact support by email, you may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing support@transcriptlog.com.

Children's privacy

Actum Pro is intended for professional use and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
